One of their classics is the Texaco Gasoline Tanker, a 1939 Dodge Airflow Truck with 6 wheels. In 1993, Ertl produced a reproduction of the original and now it’s a desirable collectable too. The truck measures 8 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″. It’s made of heavyweight die-cast metal with 6 rubber wheels. It’s got a heavyweight feel and a thick solid paint coat in the classic dark red Texaco color. The top has a coin slot. The key lock and door on the underside are missing. Classic 1930’s Texaco markings adorn each door and back of the truck. The TEXACO logo is heavily embossed into each side of the tanker. There’s no rust, no dings or dents and the paint job is nearly perfect. Photos are of actual item. Climate controlled storage and minimally handled. Sold as is. Only one available.
