Description Steel Crusader Metal Mug with non stick PTFE finish. The Crusader steel mug replaces both the issue plastic mug and the need for mess tins. Over half a litre in capacity this mug fits easily into an issue water bottle pouch under the issue bottle. Now on issue to Royal Marine Commandos and particularly recommended for Arctic training. Part of the belt kit packing list for the Jungle Phase of UKSF Selection. Recommended in Ray Mears’ ‘Bushcraft’ (ref. page 11) and seen in use by him in most of his TV work. Available from stock with black non stick PTFE finish or plain steel. Following customer feedback we do not recommend the PTFE coated model for use with open fires.
