Description Genuine UK MOD issue Headover as issued for OP HERRICK, Afghanistan. As supplied by us to elements of UKSF for use as a face mask on Counter Terror (CT) Operations. Such items have been required to be worn by troops ‘outside the wire’ in certain operational theatres. Simple ‘tube’ design in soft, stretchable material, lightweight, breathable and quick drying. These head overs can be used as a neck gaiter (scarf), warm hat, balaclava or face mask. Similar items are sometimes called ‘snoods’ Provides protection against wind, dust and sun, some users cut these down to make sweatbands to wear under helmets. Plain light olive colour for use with UK MTP or Multicam. Measures 25 x 55cm opened out, folds down to 7 x 7 x 2.5cm. These are all new in the manufacturer’s bags, ex MOD surplus stock. Multiple views shown, single head over supplied, no other items will be included.
