Description The Wolf & Woman label springs from a quote Jolandie’s husband once sent her: “Some days I am more wolf than woman and I am still learning how to stop apologising for my wild.” This awakened in her the “wild woman” qualities she sees as essential to winemaking — intuition, passion and authenticity. Jolandie pours her own story into her wines. Each bottle offers a glimpse into how she sees and feels the world: a distilled expression of her journey, her craft and her wild, creative spirit. This Pinotage is a blend of two different vineyards for the Paardeberg region and the second vineyard located North West of Malmesbury. Offering bright red cherries, plum, dried herbs and spices on the nose, this follows through on the palate with vivid fruit, a chalky structure and beautifully balanced acidity. Serve at 15-18 Deg. Pair with grilled lamb rack with rosemary and garlic roast root vegetables. Enjoy now and for further good development over the next 3–7 years.
